Description
The Aladdin O-86 is a precision-cut tank O-ring engineered as a drop-in substitute for Pentair part 071442, serving the Purex 2000 Series filter line including SM and SMBW models. This seal creates a secure, leak-free junction between the filter tank halves, safeguarding filtration efficiency and preventing costly water loss. Constructed from resilient rubber compound, the O-86 withstands continuous exposure to treated pool water and maintains its sealing integrity season after season. Whether you are addressing a worn seal during routine upkeep or restoring an older filter unit, applying a thin coat of silicone lubricant before installation promotes a smooth fit and reliable long-term performance.
