Description
The STRONG SR-FS-SYSTEM-DC-27U is a 27U freestanding rack system designed for structured cabling, AV equipment, and network hardware installations. This unit provides an organized mounting framework for patch panels, switches, amplifiers, and other rackmount gear in 1.75-inch incremental EIA-standard rack spaces. With a 27U capacity, it accommodates mid-size equipment loads in equipment rooms, server closets, and AV head-end installations. Licensed low-voltage installers and systems integrators are the primary trades that specify and install this type of rack enclosure.
The SR-FS-SYSTEM-DC-27U suits residential and light commercial structured wiring applications where a freestanding footprint is preferred over wall-mounted solutions. It is sold as a single unit and is appropriate for telecom rooms, home automation equipment bays, and AV rack installations where floor space allows a self-supporting cabinet format. No specific compatible equipment models were provided by the manufacturer for this listing.
