When to Replace

  • Filter pressure rises quickly after cleaning or circulation remains restricted
  • Pleats are torn, frayed, or separating from the end caps
  • Molded gasket areas are cracked, warped, or won’t seal consistently
  • Water clarity doesn’t improve despite proper chemistry and routine cleaning

Maintenance Tips

  • Rinse the cartridge when pressure rises about 8–10 PSI above your clean starting pressure (or when flow drops).
  • Spray between pleats from top to bottom and rotate the cartridge as you clean for a more thorough rinse.
  • Deep clean periodically to remove oils; if scale is present, degrease first, then treat for scale and rinse thoroughly.
  • Inspect the tank O-ring and sealing surfaces during service and lubricate lightly with silicone pool lube for an easier, more consistent seal.
